"William Joseph is believed to be the son of Elias C. of NC and Autauga Co. Al. It hasn't been totally proven but as about as sure as can be. There are some questions due to the Autauga 1830 and 1840 census but according to land deeds it appears to confirm the connection and Elias' wife Elizabeth moved in with William after Elias died.
